My name is Wes Ellis. I have been at First Congregational Church of Ramona for my entire life. I graduated from Azusa Pacific University with a degree in Theology and Biblical Studies in May 2008 and I have been the Youth Director at FCC Ramona since August 2008. I love hanging out with students, learning with them, and participating with them in God’s work in the world.

Amanda Jane Ellis

Hello! My name is Amanda Ellis. I graduated from Azusa Pacific University with a Bachelor’s degree in English in 2008, I went on to Mt. San Jacinto College for an A.S. in Child Development, and now I work for Head Start–a free preschool for low income families in Ramona. I absolutely love Jr. and Sr. High youth (some call me crazy for that!) and I have worked as a youth intern for Gateway Nazarene church in Murrieta, CA (Summer of 2006) and last volunteered as a youth leader for two years at Covina Evangelical Free Church in Covina, CA. I am looking forward to growing in relationship with each of the kids that come through FCC’s door, so that they can grow in their understanding of who they are in Christ.

Hi there, I’m Josh Hager. I have been going to First Congregational since I was a small boy and was highly involved with the youth program during my high school years. I now have an opportunity to give back to the church in a way that I would never have imagined and would like to help in anyway that I can. I am currently enrolled at Cuyamaca Community College where I am working on a justice degree and hope to eventually become a park ranger.
