The 2009 Harvest Fair Car Wash was a success. Our annual car wash which raises funds for the annual Ski Trip took place on Oct. 17. About 10 students from the youth group gathered to wash cars and they were steadily (if not frustratingly) busy all day long from 8am-3pm. The church and all who gave towards our Ski Trip were very generous. We made $697 in donations! We’re now one step closer to going skiing in January. Thanks to everyone who supported our students and to everyone who helped make the Harvest Fair such a great event.
Please look forward to supporting our youth again in their upcoming See’s Candy Fund Raiser and on November 15th a the Rubio’s Lunch Fund Raiser (we’ll give you a flier to take in to Rubio’s and on that day and for everyone who brings in a flier the youth will recieve a portion of the percentage of the purchase). The Ski Trip is a little more expensive this year so we’ll need your continuing support. The lives of our youth are truly being changed and blessed by the ministry of this church.
